Chicago – it was a Strohl kind of town. From September 29 – October 2, 2002, hundreds of BCP professionals descended upon the Windy City for the annual International Strohl Systems User Group Conference.

The conference, titled “Ready or Not the World is Changing. Are Your Plans” featured top industry experts, speakers, information on Strohl’s family of software tools, and advice on industry trends. One of the conference highlights was the keynote address by former New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani who spoke about his role in the September 11 tragedy and the role of leadership in business continuity planning.

In addition to the informative sessions, the Chicago User Group Conference also gave attendees ample opportunity to relax and talk with one another. Strohl Systems hosted an Attendee Networking Reception one night to give continuity professionals an outlet to discuss industry concerns and issues with one another. The following night, Chicago’s famous Navy Pier was home to Strohl Systems’ “Wise Guys and Gals Gala.” With food, festivities, and songs by Chicago’s very own Blues Brothers, attendees danced late into the night.
